Озеро Корольок

Lake Korolek is a commercial fishery with consistent pike presence and accessible bottom-fishing for carp. Average rating of 3.9/5 from 100 reports reflects inconsistency: many days with solid catches (especially early morning and evening), but also plenty of reports of inactive fish, missed bites, and blanks. Spinning dominates the reports; shallow shoreline areas and deep holes around 11 m are hot spots. Live bait and carp bottom fishing work too, but are less consistently documented.

• Fish at dawn or dusk: most successful days occur in early morning (6–12 PM) or evening (after 4 PM); daytime fishing is possible but less predictable.
• Soft plastics (2–4 inch), spinners (Mepps, Azura), and crankbaits (110–130 mm) all work equally well — experiment if fish aren't responding.
• For carp fishing, use tiger nut or corn pop-ups (8–12 mm), boilies, and groundbait (Pop Up, pellets); bottom fishing often works best at night and early morning.
• Entry costs around 250–400 UAH; the lake has facilities (toilets, piers, shelters), but weekends get crowded — visit on a weekday for peace and quiet.
• Ask staff about deep holes and productive spots; most larger pike are caught near the shore or at depths of 10–12 meters.
