Description
Went out to Sonyachne this morning to chase some sunfish, but they were pretty inactive because of the heat, even though they were cruising near the surface. Still managed to land a few and a couple of pumpkinseeds. Then in the evening I decided to finally try for some chub, but ended up catching a couple of roach that slipped right out of my hands and one ide. Once it got darker, the predators started making some moves, so I switched to a jig and hooked a nice pike perch right on the first cast.
