Lake Saltanivka

July 3-5 was the 2nd stage of the "Friendly carp crew" carp fishing competition, which I stumbled into pretty much by accident. It was my first competition and also my first time on this lake. Didn't figure out what was biting until late Saturday evening. Wasn't expecting that switching from a 10mm balance to a 24mm boilie would get me bites 2 or even 3 times more often. But overall it was a really interesting experience, and despite the rough start, I managed to place 4th with a total of 180005g, 26 fish.
