Description
Hey! First time on the Desna — the current is seriously strong 🙂
Getting to the shore was a whole quest: everything's flooded after the rains and it's basically swampland.
Fish were pretty passive overall: got 6 bites and 1 landed (the tails ate my lures good 😄), especially considering I picked up a spinning rod for the first time in 5 years.
The place is interesting and really beautiful, reminds me of the Dnieper backwaters I grew up around.
Had a great time, open to company and checking out new spots 👍
