Headed out in the evening for some spinning and once again tried to figure out what's biting on this lake right now. Compared to last year, the fish have been noticeably harder to catch. We fished from 5 to 7 in the evening — during that time we got a few perch, which we released right away. On my first cast I hooked a ruff on a green acid shad, and my old man got a nice perch on an orange crayfish with a drop-shot rig. Another guy at the same time pulled out a small pike-perch on a purple crayfish. In the end, the weather forced us to leave the lake.
