If you want to have a blast catching crucian carp on a float, this is definitely the place for you. Over time, crucian carp have become really picky, so you always need to bring every bait you've got — most consistent bites happen on bloodworms, maggots, or sandwiches. I'd also recommend stocking up on plenty of rigs and spare tackle because you'll get snagged a lot due to all the roots and branches on the bottom where the carp hang out. If you're planning to visit this spot on weekends, I strongly suggest heading out right after curfew ends.
