Description
Opened the season on this amazing lake Kovácsszénája (Hungary). Location is absolutely stellar: the lake is surrounded by forest, with incredible peace and quiet all around.
Today I'm doing catch-and-release fishing, all fish go back in the water. The sport fishing permit costs 3000 Ft. Fishing from sunrise to sunset! The weather is perfect for carp fishing: +18 degrees, light breeze.
Using classic bottom rigs. Got a beautiful 2.5 kg mirror carp — what a fighter, the adrenaline is through the roof! Also landed about 5-8 decent bream (roughly 500g each). All the fish passed inspection by my chief inspector (my yorkie Miho) and swam back home to grow bigger.
Definitely recommend this spot for anyone who loves peaceful fishing and beautiful nature. Hoping for more action later today!
