The ice on the water is almost gone, fishing's comfortable now. We're in pike spawning season right now, so it's catch-and-release only. Fishing permit costs 350 hrn. The pike aren't huge, but they're pretty active - getting bites, the fishing's alive. But here's the wild part that happened with my husband: He's a carp guy and somehow managed to find a carp even on a pike fishing spot 😅 And get this - he didn't just net it, the carp actually bit him in the mouth, which is pretty unusual Season's starting to kick off - the water's waking up, the fish too 🎣
