Description
Spent about 3 hours out there with a 5 gram purple Viking balancer and got absolutely nothing. Was targeting perch since the locals said that's the main predator in this pond, but couldn't get them to bite. Was actually planning to head out to the reservoir where there's pike and zander, but the ice is way too thin there right now – maybe 4 cm, compared to the solid 9 cm on the pond where I was fishing today (pic 2)
