Up at 05:00, quick breakfast on the go, running to catch the tram, switching to the metro, then a bus, 2km walk to the water where nothing bit in 2 hours (+ everything was already packed with feeder guys..) decided to move to a new spot, back on the road, heading to a new location, and mannnn, it's gorgeous, as always at the shallows some dumb asp throws himself at every little thing but doesn't react to my lures (think this happens to everyone, you just waste an hour trying to catch the stupid fish), and then a brilliant idea hits me, wade in up to my waist and cast along the lilies, literally a few casts and the purple twister does the trick, a pike right there, emotions through the roof, quick photo session and the beauty heads back to the water, next cast, while retrieving (as usually happens) the same dumb asp attacks again, and what do you think??? missed it.. but the exit was spectacular, straight into the bushes with such an attack, adrenaline pumping… unfortunately all the bites ended there. Final results: 1 pike. 10km of walking. Smile on my face. Good luck to all
