Description
Hey everyone, got out to Sovskie ponds today for some good peaceful fishing. Decided to experiment a bit - threw out a feeder, a spring rig, and a bobber. The feeder was dead silent, but the spring rig was getting plenty of attention from hungry perch that honestly would strike at anything. There's definitely a lot of perch in this pond, but the carp and crucian carp weren't biting, even though I did see a carp jump right in front of me. Overall, it's a pretty promising spot for peaceful fishing, but you gotta find the right approach. For perch - they'll take a bare hook. Ended up with about twenty perch the size you see in the photo, and of course I released everything back. Tight lines everyone!
