Description
A morning clinic visit messed up my early fishing plans, so when I got home I grabbed my spinning rod and some lures and headed out to chase some perch. Unfortunately, I burned through pretty much all my tackle over 4 hours (2-6 PM) and only managed 2 perch bites, both of which I botched right at the shore. Out of all the lures I had, the only one that actually convinced a perch to bite was a Morio 1.2" by FishUp in color #104 (I'd used it plenty of times before but never got any action). Took away one lesson from the day though — when you pick a lure for your arsenal, you gotta be ready for it to be a dud, but eventually the time comes when it's the only one that'll work.
