Description
Two productive spots and that's where all the fish were
The purple dragonfly did all the work
Got to the lake at 6:30 and jumped straight into experiments: acid, motor oil, UV, 2g weight, Flagman vodka 0.5–5g, four-section.
Worked the shoreline in a few directions - dead quiet, but two spots gave up all the bites. At one spot a fish broke off right as I was bringing it in - a palm-sized perch.
Ended up with three small pike-perch, all done by 10:00. Only thing that worked - the purple dragonfly, everything else was a total bust.
Fluorocarbon 0.17, size 8 hook, regular snap.
