Spent a couple hours checking what's still biting on pike-perch but unfortunately didn't find any - only managed to catch some smaller stuff and a decent perch. Pike had a go on the first cast and didn't take, same with the second one, but nailed it on the third. Picked up a perch too, caught it on a 8 gram medveg jig right in the channel. Was pretty fun fishing and scouting the spot to see what's working there. Thinking of grabbing some more interesting gear and heading out to scout another spot where there's supposedly pike-perch.
