16 hours of fishing and here's what we got – two tench at 9.2kg each plus another 2kg or so of smaller bream that we threw back right away. Started fishing yesterday evening and went till morning. The evening was really promising, we were catching tench almost right off the bat but they were all small, 300-500 grams, pretty feisty though. Got 4 tench and then got lucky with the trophy of the day – a 1.7kg bream. Tons of small bream biting through the night but after 3am everything changed, the tench stopped biting. At first they were all tiny but eventually hooked into something more serious. For the first night session of the year, not bad at all and it was great fishing since we were targeting just tench and bream, nothing else – no roach, no perch, no rudd. Got some awesome memories and headed home to sleep after a solid session. Tight lines everyone!!!! Would appreciate some kudos!
