The perch were biting like crazy today. Caught 45 fish, lost another 5-10, and released 5 more. Here's an interesting thing though — the perch sometimes bit really carefully at the edge of their lips, so they'd often tear loose when I set the hook, so I was reeling them in carefully with a loose drag. Early on I got a small pike around 1kg, and later a tiny walleye which I released. Total catch came to 4.3kg. And again, I was only using a Mepps Aglia 2 spoon in gold — that lure is just insane🔥
