Maydanivsʹka Dilʹnytsya Poh Mrh "Starychi"

This time fishing turned out to be one of those... "tough" outings. Only managed to catch a few perch, even though usually on this water body small perch bite actively and without much effort. Decided to check out the second lake again for a change (the one to the left of the road). Spent a few hours covering half the shoreline, but the results were modest - just two perch. For some reason this lake still remains a mystery to me: over two years I haven't managed to catch a single pike or zander here (though the locals swear that predators bite perfectly on the lake to the left). Even though I fish both the classic promising spots - near the dam, on hard bottom, near snags and drop-offs - and also check less obvious areas, the result is always the same - total silence 🤐. Even with perch, which should be the easier target, fishing here is still a challenge. Maybe it's just not the right time, not the right place, who knows 😞
