Description
Decided to head out float fishing today since it was pretty warm and I heard that tench have been biting in some of the local waters. Based on last year's experience, I knew they usually start feeding in the afternoon and evening, so I went to check it out and try my luck at catching some tench again. Unfortunately, no luck with that, but I did manage to catch two roach – one around 400-500 grams and another palm-sized. The fish were biting on both worms and maggots, though maggots gave better results. For an hour of fishing though, I think that's pretty solid – managed to catch one of my target species and saw how active they are. Maybe next time I'll get lucky with the tench 😁
