Smotrych River
Description
Continuing my river trips around Khmelnytsky region, I decided to give the Smotrych a try, but couldn't find a proper riverbed section 😭
Every village has dams, so there's basically no river left anymore. Just 100-200m past each dam and you hit a swamp that smoothly transitions into another pond and another dam. Pretty sad 😕
Ended up fishing in a pond, and the locals weren't too happy about it. Caught a few chunky perch and two pike. Released them all as usual, which totally surprised the guy next to me 😁
