Gulf of Finland

Got back out today targeting Baltic herring and managed to pull in 11.4kg between the two of us, unfortunately didn't get any photos because the fish are absolutely covered in scales and everything ended up covered in them too — pretty interesting fishery but definitely not the most pleasant fish to handle. Started off slow and stayed that way most of the day but eventually found the right spot and figured out what they wanted. Got some decent sized ones along with the smaller stuff, had a few stretches where we were pulling 8 at a time but that was rare — usually more like 2-4, occasionally 5-7. But it was a good session, got the feels from it 😌
