Description
Rain had just cleared up so I decided to head out and hunt for some perch, but only managed a small pike. Threw a float rig out and picked up about 7 crucians, with 2 decent ones in the mix. Towards the end of the session I decided to give the jig another go and pulled a small perch out from under some snags. The bite was pretty sluggish overall — dark colors like motor oil and violet did the trick. Bait-wise: dragonfly larvae and worms in a few forms, basically a slow day.
