Description

Did a quick scout today before tomorrow's session that's supposed to be solid. Got 6 bites in three hours, 4 of them were solid but didn't land them all. Managed to convert the best two bites with these lures and unfortunately missed the other two. The fish were crushing the soft plastics, specifically the Kertech Hyper Spider 3.2 in Delta Craw — three bites in a row and all on this bait, dead solid. Not sure why but this color and type really seemed to be what the fish wanted most today. Tried a bunch of other stuff but this one on a 5-gram jig head just outfished everything else, more hookups and solid strikes. As for the fish, they're just starting to feed and getting active. One was covered in leeches which shows they're really starting to get going, so hoping for better numbers tomorrow ☺️
