Hey everyone! Got out for a couple hours as dusk was falling, haven't been there in forever. Looks like nothing's really changed much since early fall, which is honestly fine (as long as it doesn't get worse🤬). Catch-wise: caught a couple small perch with a few dead bites, barely felt them. I was throwing a 2-8 rod with 1"-2.5" soft plastics (honestly can't remember the names of all this stuff🫣) and tried different rigs and weights. The jig-rig with a teardrop weight worked best (though I was mostly focusing on the rod action) with a 1.8" twister fished upstream. Also tried some different hard baits (spinners/spoons) for a bit. Visually, the fish weren't showing much that evening. Temperature swings of 10-15° over the past few days are definitely doing their thing😶‍🌫️ Tight lines everyone!
