Description
Set out tip-ups on thin ice this morning, and with the thaw going on I had 15 strikes in 2 hours. At 7 o'clock I caught my first pike at 900g, then thirty minutes later I caught a 300g pike😅 wanted to release it but it swallowed the hook pretty deep. Then at 10:20 I caught a 1200g pike and after that the bites pretty much stopped completely, and since I didn't want to risk my life I packed up the tip-ups and headed home. I used two types of baitfish - crucian carp and perch. Got a lot of false strikes on the carp, but I caught all the pike on perch.
