Description
Based on last year's experience, I didn't really want to go fishing at this time since the fish weren't active and weren't biting. But today's session turned out great — 4 pike strikes with 2 landed. The third one was hooked and came in but ended up breaking free. It was a nice trophy fish and we had a few minutes of solid battle, but just couldn't get it close enough to shore and unfortunately it got away. The silver spinner turned out to be the winner today, and the fish were active from 9:30 to 11.
