Description
Had a pretty decent day out on the water. Got myself a new rod yesterday, and today was the first test run at a new spot for me. Showed up around 8 and bang — first cast hooked into a pike, probably around 700g or so. Didn't get a photo though. Moved to another spot and picked up some zander, another pike, and a couple perch. Caught most of the fish pretty much right by the shore, water's about 2m deep there. Didn't get a single bite from the boat though. The reservoir's got low water right now — they dropped the level about 3m three weeks ago.
