If it weren't for my first bighead carp ever, the day would've been a total bust. Got one blank bite all day, landed a bighead and caught about 20 small perch on a bobber. The place is actually great for relaxing — there are some decent gazebos and tons of wildlife roaming around (pheasants, rabbits, beavers that look just like capybaras). But the fishing part? Not so much. Not many spots to fish from shore, the piers are pretty beat up, and practically right next to the highway, so you're guaranteed non-stop car noise.
