Germanivka Pond

Trip report. Got to the water around 4 PM, by the time I set up camp it was already 5:30 😀😀😀 and I got straight to mixing groundbait (RPF pellets meat, boiled meat boilies + krill + corn and hemp, then added some Megamix powder (really effective stuff, real fish are resting) all mixed with RPF krill liquid) and started measuring distance and depth, picked two spots (at one spot a pig jumped out of the water and was messing around) 57 meters from shore with 2.8m depth first spot, second one 138 meters with 3.9m depth. First small carp started biting when the rain kicked in around 6:30 PM, then bites every 20 mins until 9:30 PM, then quiet until 11 PM and then ide started biting every 30 mins until 4 AM, then intervals stretched to an hour and around 10 AM roach started nibbling the boilies. Used 4 carp rods (two flat-bed, one on spring, one on zig rig) and two for crucian carp on springs (carp was biting, bent hooks on the feeders, one got ripped off completely 😀😀😀) from the photos you can see crucian weren't biting even though there were tons on camera. Used baits from different brands: Brain corn 10mm, RPF krill 10mm, Fishermen's club plum 8mm, Fishermen's club krill 8,10mm, and best of all was pink and white 8mm squid/cranberry (by the way this is the third pond this season that's responding to it really fast) used Fishermen's club krill pellets on flat-bed. By the way the groundbait was even eaten by local cats and a hedgehog 😀😀😀. At night I released the small ones right away, kept one for the photo and released the others back into the pond after treating them (for some reason the small ones had lots of ticks on them) happy with the fishing, my best fish from this pond was 3,800g. A guy caught 10kg, but he waited for it three days and we caught a bighead carp at 5kg. Next time I'm going back to hunt for some bighead )))
