Dniester at Subich village

Previous fishing on the Dniester over 2 days only landed one pike, so the next week the anglers managed to catch several pike in the village of Subich. The incredible beauty of the Dniester cliffs inspired the fishing, you could see pike right under the shore, like they were sunbathing, waiting for passing fry. Bites happened as expected, along the shoreline, on surface lures in natural colors. Nothing from the depths. I think this fall the toothy ones will be active, but we won't give up hope and will keep fishing throughout the summer, searching for that same trophy! Despite the water level dropping, the Dniester remains the 8th wonder of the world, incredible beauty and views charge us up for the next trips. Pike are active, but you need to look for them in places where there are shallows and not too many anglers, unlike Bakota Bay, because only there crazy tourists on jet skis scare the toothy fish away. Not a promoter, but I'd recommend everyone visit the Dniester scenery, you won't leave without pike if you fish with poppers) Tight lines to all!!!
