Good evening. Didn't feel like fishing this week with work being crazy busy. Friday morning, monthly report due, and I've got a hunch there's gonna be layoffs. Heading to work, threw a tackle box and reel in my bag in a rush, grabbed the spinning rod. Ended up late to work and caught flak from the boss. Can't decide if I'm thinking about work or fish. But you know what they say – "the doctor doesn't get offended by the sick."
