An unusual report about an unusually extraordinary fishing trip On May 19, 2024, another expedition took place with the ExcursionClubDNIPRO, PanMandrivnyk, accompanied by the charming Inna Didenko "Tarom Hiking - From Tarom to Karnauhivka along the Dnieper" After reading the trip name and thanks to Inna, who knew my preferences and suggested this journey, I didn't hesitate and signed up. I brought a light float rod Joker Mikado 3.6m since I didn't know what paths we'd be taking (jumping ahead, I can say that this "hiking" trip is perfect for spinners). I packed gear for it, earthworms, a backpack, a thermos with tea, some snacks, and mosquito spray (there were plenty of them there, the environment is ideal for them). Almost the entire route ran along the Dnieper with plenty of spots to get to the water and fish. There were plenty of anglers along the way, and everyone shared what fish they'd caught. We had rest stops too. During one of them, I managed to fish at a new spot... though I didn't have much faith since time was short, no bait... but the first cast and first 10-20 seconds and I had a fish on the hook. In 30 minutes of rest, I caught 4 types of fish of different sizes – perch, goby, chub, roach. At longer distances, you could see fish activity. On one section of the route, I noticed a kid with a regular stick with line and a bobber attached (there's a photo)... and there was a fish in the water... So, straying a bit from the post's topic, I want to tell parents: teach your kids to fish, not to use smartphones. Throughout the route there were so many spots... fishing spots included – Tarom marshes, a hydroelectric structure, the mouth of the Konoplianka River, which is mistakenly thought to be the Dnieper. Thanks to trips like this, you can discover new fishing spots or simply diversify your fishing... I'm calling this day: Tarom Fishing Hiking!... and maybe someday there will be even more of these trips and more people interested not just in fishing spots, but in the history of these places too. And the nicest thing about hikes with Inna is that all funds go to the Dnieper Spider fund for making camouflage nets for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.... in a way our thank you to the guys for the opportunity to keep traveling our homeland Ukraine.
