When people say the fish aren't biting because...weather, nature, Mercury retrograde, eclipses and whatever else... I say, did you really do everything you could to catch them?
Today the first hour of fishing was all about searching. Finding that right trick and catching fish. First I figured out what distance the fish were at. Found them, but the bites were sluggish and nothing was sticking. So I started searching for what depth they were feeding at...found it... And the final step was picking the right bait. The worm in rings wasn't working for them..only a small piece. And as a result...40 minutes of active biting, sometimes on the cast and 28 crucians in the bucket☺️
As the locals say - "there's no fish in our river"... Well, no fish then no fish...I'll have more 😁
