Now that's a trophy for this kind of weather!) Honestly, I'm still having trouble with bigger pike perch, but you take what you can get. 4g jig + 2' LuckyJohn (a Reins Saturn copy). The wind wouldn't let me fish anything lighter, and even these 4-6g weights didn't always let me cast much beyond casting distance. Had a couple of nice runs and that was it. But we got fish!
