Decided to take the spinning rods out today and this is what we got. We were fishing with some solid light universal setups up to 15, and up to 10 grams Crazy Fish Perfect Jig CFPJ-76-L-T, and Crazy Fish Perfect Jig CFPJ-72-L-T The baits that worked were Fishup Tanta 1.5" worm #036 Caramel/Green & Black, tied on a tungsten disassembled jig head 1.5 gr. My buddy was fishing with the same bait, but lead jig head got way fewer bites! I was really after perch on the split shot rig! Bites were happening right along the reed line - weeds! Some fish would just sit, others would bite properly! We brought some lights, thinking the perch had started spawning and we'd get some small pike that doesn't take part in the spawn. But there wasn't any at all. Perch will stop biting soon too, because they're already full of roe. We were fishing on a local lake, our city lake. Let's call it our home testing ground) Released all the fish since it's not for eating! Fish are friends! Release your fish, protect nature😉
