Out chasing pike again🐟 Started fishing at six in the morning, got to the pond (fishing association spot), set up the spinning rod, picked my lure, and got to casting🎣 Must've thrown the flagman fat lox for about 50 minutes straight, didn't get a single strike, just pulled up some weeds a couple times🌿 Then switched to a nimble 1.6'' in caramel on a 2-gram jighead. Casting along the shoreline with a slow retrieve and pauses. And around the sixth cast—boom—got a bite, set the hook and reeled in a pike around 900 grams🤤 Threw the nimble a couple more times but nothing else hit🥲 Decided to switch again, this time to angry baits 2" in acid, and literally on the second cast—another pike, but this one was smaller, around 300-400 grams. The fishing today was absolutely incredible😍🔥
