Promising lure with limited evidence

The Select lure showed solid results in spinning — 4–5 stars across three reports from July. However, the evidence base is extremely thin: only 1 solo report (4/5 in ideal conditions), with two others being combo reports where it competed directly with Mepps Aglia Silver 0, making success attribution difficult. Catches appear genuine (active chub, pike, trout), but lack of quantitative competitive data and a short observation window (July only) prevent confident conclusions.

In combo spinning on urban rapids, Select Rival 1.9g 30mm showed high activity in clear, warm weather with light wind — try it in similar conditions
Pairing with Mepps Aglia produced results in both combo reports; alternating lures could be an effective combination

Very limited solo sample (1 report). Two of three reports are combo trials with a direct competitor in the same role, making it impossible to reliably separate credit between lures. Data limited to July; no seasonal durability information. Primarily spinning reports; applicability to other techniques unknown.
