Soft plastic Keitech Easy Shiner 4"
AI analysis
Medium confidence
6/10
Moderate effectiveness with low reliability — the lure shows inconsistent results, primarily on pike and perch in autumn, but solid data is limited.
Keitech Easy Shiner 4" soft lure accumulated 7 reports: 5 solo (average 3.4/5) and 2 combo (average 4/5). New data added two mid-range solo reports (2/5 and 4/5) and two combos with mixed results, where the lure competed with other jigs and spinners. Autumn showed predominantly positive ratings (4/5), but summer and spring remain unknown. Overall the lure demonstrates conditional effectiveness on pike and perch, but insufficient data for confident recommendation.
Best conditions
Autumn (especially October) with overcast or changeable cloud cover; moderate wind 8–17 km/h; results vary from 2/5 to 4/5 depending on weather details; drizzle and cooler temperatures showed positive trends in early reports
Best target fish
Pike (3 solo reports) and perch (2 reports in compact autumn sample); bass appears in one combo report, but its role is unclear due to competition with another lure
- In autumn on pike and perch the lure shows the most consistent results (ratings 4/5); worth targeting this season and species combo as your primary choice
- Pairing with spinner blades (Mepps Aglia) or other soft plastics (Crazy Flapper) may enhance appeal during sluggish pike, but solo data often outperforms combos
- Effectiveness in summer and spring waters remains unknown; the lure needs further testing in warm seasons
Sample remains small (5 solo reports) and seasonally biased — nearly all data from autumn, lacking spring and winter; two combo reports blur credit distribution between lures; one early report noted material tearing, warranting attention to durability; impossible to identify reliable patterns for other fish species or conditions without larger sample size
