Archived Pond

Thought I'd snagged a crucian carp or maybe a small carp, so it bolted into the weeds, but it turned out to be a proper perch, a trophy for that little pond 😂 - - Stood with him for about 10 minutes, couldn't get him out anyway, saw some guy had a net and asked for help. He waded in wearing white socks too! 😁 - - The kids (13 of them) tried to guess the weight, saying 400, 500, 800! But it was actually 190 grams 😂 - - Everyone wanted that perch, but even though I usually release fish, this time I gave it to the guy who went in the water after him. - - So it was a fun outing to wet a line for the first time in 2 months 👍
