Peat Lake

Fished sector 8 for 2 days, didn't quite figure out the sweet spots at first, but settled on 83m distance – everything else was a total bust. Almost all takes came on purple pop-ups 8mm, the other baits didn't produce anything unfortunately. Managed to land 12 proper carp in total, the biggest was 11.6kg. Lost a couple and hooked maybe 5 smaller ones around 1kg. The fish were clearly inactive, only feeding in the early morning and evening. Nothing at night either. Still, it was cool to experiment and get a feel for what the fish prefer.
