Buzhok and Obvidnyy Canal

In the morning I headed out for an hour or two to Obvidnyy Canal, decided to try some heavy lures today so I wouldn't overload the Azura Kenshin which is rated 2-12g, so I decided to pull out a casting combo that came to me from China last year (cost me around 400-500 hryvnia). As a result, I caught a nice pike, and also had another pike around 1.5kg get away. After fishing a bit we took a break, then around 13:00 we headed back to the water, this time we drove to the Buzhok river. Once there I decided to change tactics and switched to jigging, where the first fish on the hook was a perch with a cadis, overall over a few hours of jigging I caught about 20-30 small perch and one pikeperch. Also a small pike couldn't resist the jig, weighing around 150-200g, unfortunately being just 1-2m from the shore it decided to cut through my 0.12 fluorocarbon leader. Today's fishing both pleased me with the variety of fish and surprised me with the unexpected pike bite on a jig.
