Got myself a spinning rod purely for mormyshka fishing, Azura Olivia Nano-Compact 1.73m 1.2g, and after two days of fishing with it I got tons of action and bites. Both crucian carp and perch with roach were hitting the mormyshka hook. From what I've noticed, the roach in our water body seems to be a bit sick - you can see black spots all over their bodies, especially a lot of them clustered on the belly. That's 2 bites from sick roach and 2 specimens like that in the last few days. All the fish I caught except for the sick roach went back home.
