«Crankbaits vs Microjig» Fishing therapy😉 This fishing trip turned out to be something special. Well, first of all – I met up with my buddy – Maksym Dyachek, a pike-perch fishing expert at the «Ibis» store. Maxsym and I had been planning to fish for a long time in the place where we spent our childhood. Back then, we didn't know each other, but we both caught fish pretty well. Each of us had our own proven spots, our own fishing techniques and secrets about lures, retrieves and locations. One water body, but such different views on fishing there. And so, today, in a friendly atmosphere, we had this fishing session: we filmed, in my opinion, an interesting video that will come out very soon on my YouTube channel - DShFishing. Maxsym chose microjig fishing and various small lures for himself. I fished mostly on 110-size crankbaits. We agreed on a friendly battle, so to speak) We started fishing at 10:00 and finished at 17:00 Worked pretty well for me: ZipBaits Orbit 110 510R, and also OSP Varuna 110 SF The first crankbait brought me two pike-perch and something big. Unfortunately, I managed to hold it for a bit, and... the fish got away, leaving a huge scale on the hook as a souvenir. The second crankbait brought me a small pike, slightly bigger than the crankbait...) At the end I tried fishing with Jackson Metal stay fall 10.5g jig, and I managed to convince a small pike-perch. He was fishing with Easy Shad 3, 2g jig head. Most of the bites happened in the water column. Steady retrieve. Both pike-perch and small pike were biting. Also, Maxsym managed to convince two pike on tail spinners. In this battle, friendship definitely won, but... to be honest, Maksym Dyachek took the victory! All the fish were photographed and released, but what we took with us – those were the pleasant moments that will never happen again!
