Vilkhivske reservoir

Was fishing on the shallows, so wasn't counting on any trophies. Just wanted to test out a new feeder. At dawn I pulled out a couple of crucians from the reeds. Put the first feeder right on the reeds, thought I'd lose the tackle. But managed to set the hook and pull it through the overgrowth. After sunrise the bream and red-finned roaches started hitting. Threw a few in the keep net, released the rest right away. All told I had about 15 roaches and 15 bream each. Also had one striped scoundrel the size of half my palm. Only the biggest specimens went into the count.
