Katerynivskyi quarry (d.k. Metalurh)

Came to the water early in the morning and was pretty disappointed at first – most of the pond was overgrown with algae. But I kept at it, trying different baits. After switching to a Jaxon spinner, I managed to hook a pike right under the little bridge. It was a good fight – the pike kept heading for the reeds and back under the bridge. After a solid tussle, I finally got her to shore. Ended up with a 1.83 kg pike – my first trophy of 2026!
