Went out for an hour to cast the spinning rod and didn't leave empty-handed :) only changed my casting spot because I wasn't getting any bites, and time was running out - and then boom, one bite, then another - after a few more casts, I thought it got away, but nope, third time's the charm and it was on the hook! Cast a nice hook set and reeled in a beauty! The local cat showed up out of nowhere - kept asking for the fish, but I let the perch back into the river and headed home happy :)
