Little Lake

Came to the little lake hoping to finally get out on the ice. But nope, even though the lake is really small, you can see there are open patches. Ice is 2 to 3.5-4cm thick, and on top there's packed melted snow another 2cm or so. So I fished for 15 min near the shore where there's at least some depth. Got 1 bite from a perch. I reckon by January 1st you can already hit the ice in these spots. I've got places where you can definitely go out, but I can't get there right now. Don't go out on thin ice, gotta wait a bit longer, it's really tempting but way too early.
