Sluch River

Got to the river at 7 in the morning, it was still -3 degrees outside, the fish started biting around 7:30, stopped around 11. Lots of false bites, probably small trash fish – there's plenty of those in this area. Used maggots and worms as bait, caught a few on worms, but the maggots worked better. For groundbait we used Flagman black bream and Flagman carp meal cake, also tried adding molasses. Caught about 10 roach altogether.
