Coming to the water early in the morning, I was first disappointed that most of the pond was overgrown with algae. Despite this, I continued fishing the area with different types of baits. After switching to a Jaxon spinner, I managed to catch a pike right under the bridge. It was quite a fight: the pike kept pulling away from the shore into the reeds and under the bridge. But after a long battle, I managed to land it. As a result — a pike weighing 1.83 kg, my first trophy of 2026)
