Great fishing in not-so-great weather.. Even though it was raining and pouring almost non-stop, and I already had sand even in my shorts – it didn't stop me from pulling in a huge variety of fish. I even landed two red book fish: a dace and a striped ruffe. Both were released right after photos. In total got 4kg in the net (half of which swam back to do their thing) plus another roughly 1.5-2kg that I released right away, which I think is a pretty solid result for bream this season. Used long rigs from 100cm up to 150cm – everything smaller refused to bite or only small specimens took. For bait it was a mix of Flagman pro universal snickers + Flagman grand black roach bream for color and Flagman pro big fish (large fraction) + threw in 1/3 paste + boiled millet and just to experiment boiled pea halves which I used to pack half of every cast (the peas were cooked but stayed firm) for extra large fraction. The bait worked 100%, caught two solid white-eyed bream 350-400 grams, an almost kilogram bream, quite a few roach and smaller bream 400-500 grams.
