The fishing was absolutely amazing. We fished from 11 to 4, and looking for perch we drilled up about 1/3 of the pond 😅 At first we caught some real trophy-sized specimens, and honestly it didn't matter what bait we used. Then we started getting some really nice perch too. Tried bloodworms, maggots, artificial baits, and spinners — everything worked a little bit except for silver colored lures. As a bonus we also hooked a nice pike that cut through 0.22 fluorocarbon and got away with the lure. Between the three of us we ended up with quite a lot of perch. The first perch in the photo unfortunately isn't my catch, but I landed plenty of similar ones too))
